Yumi Yoon

Yumi embarked on a long journey in healthcare with a bachelor's degree in Nursing and Traditional Chinese Medicine, laying the foundation for her career as an acupuncturist and Traditional Chinese Medicine Practitioner after working as a registered nurse for over 5 years.

After Yumi recognised the transformative potential of neuroscience acupuncture, she became the first certified neuropuncturist in Auckland. Her passion for understanding the intricate connections between acupuncture and the nervous system led her to advanced training by helping people struggling with traumatic brain injuries, cognitive dysfunction, neurological conditions, mental health, and internal health and can often be seen mixing up a ‘yummy’ blend of herbs or supplements for such conditions.

Her hands-on approach to acupuncture combined with Craniosacral Therapy will unwind your tension and stress, balance your internal systems and improve your recovery. 

 

Outside of practice, Yumi is a gym bunny and enjoys camping.
